- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Venezuelan Riots. DESCRIPTION: Caracas, the morning after a revolution, in which a would-be dictator (General Jiminez) was deposed at a cost of some three hundred lives. The capital rejoices over its hard-won freedom. But trouble was not yet over. Political feeling was still running high, rioting followed. Crowds gathered outside the Miraflores Palace, where the new ruling Junata was being sworn-in. It was headed by Rear Admiral Wolfgang Larrazabal. After he and his ministers had officially taken office, he broadcast to the people. SHOTLIST: High angle shots of streets, with crowds etc. Various shots in streets of people rioting. Shots of several cars burning in the streets. Shots of crowds around the Miraflores Palace. Shots of tanks in streets.
