Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scottish Blizzard. DESCRIPTION: London scenes of snow - and then the thaw. In Scotland, snow came down in real earnest. All traffic in the Southern Counties were brought to a standstill after the worst blizzard for ten years. Ten thousand miles of Scottish roads have been snow-bound and many villages cut off. In Poland, the European Toboggan Championships. SHOTLIST: Scenes on main Stirlingshire-Alloa road with cars and buses abandoned and others trying to get through. Shots of a man on skis - Dr Kendall of Stirling who had to abandon his car and was attempting to reach his patient.
