DESCRIPTION: At the port of Kuwait on the Persian Gulf some fifty million tons of crude oil were produced last year by a joint Anglo-American Company, so Britain is intimately concerned in her future. This little Sheikhdom earns a hundred million pounds from its oil every year. The people themselves will benefit with a standard of living undreamed of 50 years ago.
