- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Red Flag Demonstrations at St Pancras. DESCRIPTION: It is St Pancras Town Hall, London. Mr Lawrence, the Socialist leader of the council went in early on May the First and hoisted the Red Flag. It was without the hammer and sickle, but, all the same, Britain has her Union Jack! Students were out in force; to make this point quite clear. Mr Lawrence then made a speech but was asked to stop. Another meeting had started first, and the police don’t allow two crowds, in the same place. SHOTLIST: GV St Pancras Town Hall. Closer same. MS Mr Lawrence arrives. Cameramen. MS Red Flag hoisted.
