Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Army of Occupation Arrive From Rhine. DESCRIPTION: Homeward bound after eleven years of duty in the Rhineland. SHOTLIST: Troop ship with troops lining decks coming in to dock. They cheer. Landing. Pipe band plays as the train leaves. Men hanging from the windows. CAN 1136 Troops marching through town with band playing. Officer reads orders to the troops lined up. Shots of the troops seated and singing "Long Way to Tipperary". Shots of the troops in train and soldier kisses woman farewell. He speaks. Train leaving with troops hanging from the windows and waving.
