Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Lambeth Conference Garden Party. DESCRIPTION: Bishops of the Anglican Communion and leaders of other Churches enjoyed a social gathering at Lambeth Palace. The Lambeth Conference brings ecclesiastics to London from all over the world. All had come at the invitation of the Archbishop of Canterbury. Among those at the Garden Party was the Metropolitan of Minsk as well as other Russians. SHOTLIST: GV lawns and tent. GV handshaking. MS two bishops shake hands. GV three bishops drink tea.
