- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess in Ottawa. DESCRIPTION: Princess Margaret and the Governor General, Mr Vincent Massey, arrived at the Prime Minister’s residence. Mr Diefenbaker, who received Her Royal Highness, was later to present her on the Governments’ behalf with a full length Mink coat. She was also given a Chinchilla Cape by the City of Ottawa. SHOTLIST: GV crowds outside building. MS pan royal car passes. MS Princess walks into building. MS Princess leaves car. MS Princess in doorway. MS Governor’s daughter takes photographs. MS Princess Margaret receives flowers and walks off.
