MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Tale of the Yukon. DESCRIPTION: After fishing near Whitehorse, Mr Diefenbaker, Canada’s Prime Minister, flew on to the Dawson City, scene of the fantastic gold rush, sixty years ago. The Premier visited the Museum, where he inspected some of the fascinating relics of the old days, and chatted with old-timers. Before leaving the Premier panned for gold and was lucky enough to find a sizeable nugget. SHOTLIST: LS party fishing (key). GV lakes from mountains above.
