Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jewish Remembrance. DESCRIPTION: Four thousand Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women were inspected by Lieutenant-General Sir Brian Horrocks. The occasion was the annual Jewish Remembrance Service by fifty-seven branches of AJEX and contingents from other Jewish ex-service groups. The Service was conducted by Dr Isaac Levy, Senior Jewish Chaplain to the Forces. After the march-past and the salute, a wreath of remembrance was laid in Whitehall. SHOTLIST: GV VIPs (key).
