- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England V Wales (Soccer). DESCRIPTION: Villa Park, Birmingham, and England, in white shirts, kicked off in their international soccer match against Wales. England was strong favourites, but it was Wales who sprang the first surprise: Tapscott shot a goal. Broadbent equalised after five minutes’ play.
