- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tragedy of the Dam. DESCRIPTION: The bursting of a near-by dam, and the overwhelming flood of water that swept down through the gorge on to Riba de Lago brought grim tragedy to this small Spanish town. It happened at night and over 200 of the inhabitants were reported missing. Only a few of the dead had as yet been found. A girl, who was away on a visit when the dam burst, returned to find her home and parents gone. SHOTLIST: Scene of devastation (key). GV scene. LS wrecked buildings. LS church. Wrecked buildings.
