- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ballroom Champions. DESCRIPTION: The World’s Ballroom Dancing Championships were won by couple number 8, Brenda Winslade and Desmond Ellison of Great Britain. The dancers came from countries as distant as Chile and Australia, all of them professionals in champion class. The judges gave their verdict and Anna Neagle was there to do the honours. But before they left to celebrate, there was a lap of honour by Brenda and Desmond, the two British professionals who lead the world. SHOTLIST: CU dancing (key). Dancing Viennese Waltz. TS dancing.
