- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Kew Gardens Celebrate. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, now celebrating their two hundredth birthday, are one of the most delightful of London attractions. Developed over the years from a private garden, they now cover over 300 acres, and include a number of hot-houses. The largest of these is the tropical Palm House, and Her Majesty walked round it, when she attended a garden party held to mark the bicentenary.
