- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Collision in Fog. DESCRIPTION: Leaving New York in thickening fog, the liner Queen Elizabeth suffered her first collision since she was launched over 20 years ago. The freighter American Hunter was the other ship involved. The accident took place in the Ambrose Channel, one of the most crowded shipping thoroughfares in the world.
