MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Braemar. DESCRIPTION: About thirty thousand went to the Braemar Gathering and, although the Queen didn’t attend, the Queen Mother, Princess Margaret, Prince Philip, the Prince of Wales and Princess Anne were there. Highland dancing was a big feature of this famous gathering. So was the athletic event with Anderson’s double success: a record with the 16 pound stone at 45 and a half feet, and a record with the 22 pound hammer at 102 feet 7 1/2 inches.
