Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Girls Fine Win. DESCRIPTION: Rome’s Olympic stadium, and a meeting that gave spectators a foretaste of next year’s Games. There was strong Polish and Italian competition in the 200 metres. Victory went to Dorothy Hyman in the good time of 24.1. The crowd was treated to another British win in the eighty metres Hurdles.
