Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Motor Racing. DESCRIPTION: Racing at Goodwood, and while the cars warmed up, there was an air display by the famous Black Arrows: Treble One Squadron. Among performers at ground level was circuit record-holder Stirling Moss. A German Porsche was his mount for the Formula Two event, but Innes Ireland, a promising Scots contender, was home first. Ireland, driving his Lotus Climax again, won also the Formula One event in a new record time: over a hundred miles an hour. SHOTLIST: MS track - pan to Air Display. Pan air display. LAS air display.
