- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Flying Fists at Wembley. DESCRIPTION: In the ABA Championship finals at Wembley, Bantam-weight Peter Bennyworth (RAF) met Billy Williams, a 21-year-old miner. It was Williams’ first appearance here, but victory went to Bennyworth. In the Light-Middle class, 18-year-old Johnny Gamble encountered Private Robert Keddie (of Glasgow). The result was the count down for Keddie. SHOTLIST: Titles over two boxers in the ring fighting. LS boxers come out of their corners and begin fight. MS fight. Referee watching (Peter Bennyworth v Billy Williams). MS fighting. LS same. MS same. MS same. MS referee gives Williams a warning. MS fight starts again. MS same. Victory to Bennyworth. MS crowd. MS Bennyworth congratulated by Williams. LS light-middle class fight begins (Johnny Gamble V Private Robert Keddie). MS fight. MS same. MS same. MS same. MS referee examines Gamble’s eye - then fight goes on. MS fight. MS same. MS Keddie knocked down. MS referee gives him the countdown. MS Keddie gets to his knees while Gamble jumps for joy at winning.
