Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Latest Skyscraper. DESCRIPTION: London’s certainly on the up and up with New Zealand House latest of the new skyscrapers to have its topping out ceremony. As the final skip of concrete was lowered into place, the New Zealand flag was broken out, and Mr Lake (Minister of Finance) did the rest. The building, nearly 230 feet high, can look down at Nelson on his column. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV skyscraper. CU New Zealand House. LS men on roof. CU New Zealand flag.
