MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Game Rescue. DESCRIPTION: The world-wide movement to preserve wild life is agreeable news. It also underlines the work still going on to preserve game endangered by the man-made Kariba Lake. The animals must be transferred to new areas in Rhodesia. Our pictures show game wardens on the job. Lions, once regarded as some of the most dangerous of all wild animals, are fast earning a reputation as man’s best friend. Mr Norman Carr, an ex-Government game ranger, living near Fort Jameson, has a couple of magnificent specimens as pets. The big cats are evidently as tame as the famous Elsa! SHOTLIST: Key scene.
