Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sequel to the Blitz. DESCRIPTION: First, old pictures recalling Coventry’s terrible ordeal, aftermath of that night in November 1940, when Nazi bombers blitzed the centre of the city, laying it in ruins. The skeleton of the Cathedral remained as gaunt witness of the attack. But close by, a new cathedral has arisen. Now, a sequel to the bombing.
