Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Desperate Search. DESCRIPTION: It was off the coast of Dutch New Guinea that Michael Rockefeller, son of New York’s millionaire Governor, was last seen, swimming to that inhospitable shore. Flashback to that happy day in 1959, when Mr Nelson Rockefeller attended his son Stephen’s wedding with a Norwegian girl. Michael was there, too. Now, in New Guinea, his father himself went out to look for his explorer son, and every possible step was being taken to find Michael. SHOTLIST: Key scene. LS coast of Dutch New Guinea.
