Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bomb Banners March Again. DESCRIPTION: In spite of a security raid on the London Headquarters of the Committee of One Hundred, their plans were carried through. The organisers’ chief aim was said to be the so called invasion of the United States Air Force Base at Wethersfield. Obviously, therefore, the necessary measures had to be taken at the base to keep demonstrators out, and well over eight hundred arrests were made. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV street. MCU sign.
