Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Skill on the Slopes. DESCRIPTION: Somebody in America thought up this way of learning an outdoor sport indoors. It’s the Ski-Dek, an incline with a rapidly moving surface. It travels uphill, giving beginners the feeling of travelling downhill. Over in Germany, the British four-man bob-team is seen during trials for the world bobsleigh championships.
