Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Travel Turmoil. DESCRIPTION: It was Black Monday all right for those Londoners, who generally travel by Underground, and there were big queues at railway stations where work-to-rule was in operation. For some, of-course, it was a case of walking to work, and the story at rush-hour time was a real travel-clog. Over to Australia, where a daring driver, trying out a new Aussie built car, went through a tough routine. It’s not really intended as a suggestion for forcing a way through rush-hour traffic! SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS Stanmore Station. CU sign. GV pan train. MS crowds. MS bus. CU sign. MS people get on bus. (3 shots) people walking. MS cars on road. CU sign car park. GV car park (full). CU sign car park full. (3 shots) parking meters. MS two traffic wardens. (5 shots) people walking. MCU car. MS car goes over ramp. MS car goes over ramp and camera. (2 shots) car over another.
