- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Blackpool’s Wonder Boy. DESCRIPTION: There was no lack of competition in the English Championship cross-country near Blackpool. The race turned out to be a duel between the European three-mile record-holder, Bruce Tulloh, and Gerry North of Blackpool. North beat Tulloh by two seconds. Anderson came third.
