Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England V Switzerland. DESCRIPTION: England met Switzerland at Wembley in a match generally regarded as a warm-up for the World Cup Series in Chile. Johnny Haynes won the toss, and the visitors kicked off. England soon scored their first goal, and barely a minute later, Hitchens was on the spot to make it 2-nil. Switzerland were rewarded by a goal just before half-time. Finally, a header by Connelly made it 3-1. In the second half, no more goals were scored. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV teams come out onto pitch.
