- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Shape of ‘63. DESCRIPTION: Parking is the paradox of the motor car, although a step in the right direction is the new underground garage at Hyde Park. Just drop down less than 15 feet below park level and take a ticket marked with time and date. Then chose one of more than a thousand parking spaces in this giant park of 7 acres. First hour, 2 shillings. Twelve hours for 10. From places to park in to cars to drive in, the Motor Show at Earls Court. The well-proven Minis, a highlight of their range, come in many versions. If you want something more powerful than the Renault R8, there is the Super Minx from Rootes. The Cortina is a promising newcomer from Fords. The Rolls Royce, now with 2 headlamps either side, cost you over ten thousand. And, among many other cars, there is the very striking Sabra from Israel. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
