MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: India - US Arms Airlift. DESCRIPTION: The United States continues to fly in arms and supplies to Calcutta in support of India’s efforts to combat Chinese aggression. So far, only light infantry weapons drawn from US depots in Europe have been delivered. Now comes the news that Premier Nehru wants to buy US transport planes to strengthen India’s supply lines. Meanwhile, life in Calcutta itself goes on much the same as usual. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV supplies in Calcutta. CU signs (2 shots). GV plane. CU man.
