Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cricket - West Indian Preview. DESCRIPTION: Arundel Castle. An ideal place to greet the West Indian Tourists. The tourists were playing the traditional curtain-raiser against the Duke of Norfolk’s XI. The large number of West Indians in the crowd, ensured that the tourists had plenty of warm-hearted support. Largely due to his efforts the Duke’s team slipped from 120 for 1 to 203 all out. Eventually the tourists won by 3 wickets. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV Arundel Castle. GV crowds.
