Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sails on London’s River. DESCRIPTION: Getting all set and ship shape for the start of Tideway II, a race which, though it’s only in its second year, looks like becoming an established highlight of the sailing calendar. More than 250 craft took part in this year’s race which was run in two parts - from Putney Pier to Tower Bridge and back again. A round trip of 17 miles. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV dinghies on beach.
