Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: No Through Road. DESCRIPTION: By 1980, we’re officially told, there’ll be 18 million cars in Britain. It’s bad enough with six and a half million and the penalties for being motorised are worry and frustration as well as parking fines. The Road Pricing Motor may at some time have to be fitted to all cars. So you not only pay for parking but for driving too. SHOTLIST: Key scene. TS 2 cars attempt to park in the same space.
