- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Army Blows a New Sound. DESCRIPTION: While visiting Australia the first Battalion, the Royal Ulster Rifles came face to face with a Didgeridoo. They were so impressed that they asked if they could have one for the band. The Didgeridoo is new, but their silver trumpets have been used for over a quarter of a century. Now twenty new trumpets are being made by a Manchester firm. But instead of silver they’ll be silver-plate on brass. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
