MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Lift for Export. DESCRIPTION: In a factory at Leighton Buzzard a new lift has been designed for heavy industries like foundries, shipyards and steelworks. Called a side loader, it has hydraulic legs to support it while lifting its load. It can lift loads of up to twenty five tons, twenty four feet off the ground. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV truck lifting bus. MCU operator in cabin. CU same. CU hydraulic legs. GV bus drives up to side of truck. MCU operator in cabin. TS forks move underneath bus. CU same. GV bus lifted onto truck.
