Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Something to Celebrate. DESCRIPTION: In the second soccer test in Sydney, Everton won by 5 goals to 1, against Australia. A new blend of whisky is being produced in Melbourne. Forty two Highland whiskys, carefully blended with ‘home grown’ Australian whisky. The whiskys are blended in scrupulous laboratories in 20,000 gallon tanks. Maturing in Australia takes about half the time normally needed in this climate. A bottle a second is achieved by the bottling plant, but then Australians drink about a million and a half gallons a year. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV play (Everton V Australia). GV crowd.
