- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Orphans of the Wild. DESCRIPTION: Mr and Mrs Bristow who live on an estate in Southern Rhodesia adopt wild and homeless animals. It seems that almost any wild animal can be tamed if you catch them when they’re young enough. It’s like a zoo with a difference, plenty of wild animals, no bad temper from anyone! Thanks to the Bristows the farm remains a haven for the orphans of the wild. SHOTLIST: Key scene. Animals on farm. Plane taxies through trees (2 shots). Mrs Joyce Bristow. Mr Bristow walks from plane. Same greets wife and zebra. Same and zebra. Lynx greets Mr Bristow. Lynx plays with dog. Lynx runs to buffalo calf and wildebeest called Macmillan. Same plays with the above. Hyena. Same and Mr Bristow. Mr Bristow and crocodiles. Mr and Mrs Bristow walk with cheetahs. Cheetahs on tree. CU same (2 shots). MS cheetahs. Same and Mr and Mrs Bristow having tea together.
