MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Janet Follows Mum’s Footsteps. DESCRIPTION: Janet Simpson of Northwood, Middlesex, one of Britain’s Olympic sprinters, has been training under mother’s supervision. Mrs Simpson was an athlete too, and entered for the hurdles in the 1932 Olympics in America.
