MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Trial of the Pyx. DESCRIPTION: The Queen’s Remembrancer, Master Claude Grundy, Senior Master of the Law Courts, addresses the jury at the trial. The trial is the examination of coins from the Royal Mint. Members of the Goldsmiths’ Company make sure that they’re of the right weight and the correct metal.
