- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Advance Fights Burn Hazard. DESCRIPTION: A demonstration of a new emergency treatment - it’s a new dressing - a sheet of polyurethane foam which can be cut to any size and applied to any part of the body. It’s pre-sterilized to resist bacteria and can be applied by an unexperienced person. It was being used on a young girl who was severely burned in an accident at home. SHOTLIST: MS burned man. MCU ditto pan up to his face. MCU another man unpacking new burn dressing. MS other man puts dressing onto burned man’s arm. MCU ditto. 9 frame slip pan. MS ambulance arriving at the hospital. Pan ambulance men help burned man from ambulance, and into the hospital. CU sign on door shock room. MS doctor takes new dressing off burned man’s arm. LA sign Burns Unit Ward G. MLS nurse standing over little girl who is badly burned. MCU burned girl on bed. CU little girl’s ankle. Pan down little boy’s face to his hand covered with the new dressing. MS ditto.
