Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Test Series Ends in Punch-Up. DESCRIPTION: At Sydney, Australia win the third and deciding Rugby League between Britain and Australia. Australia in the lead, during the last few minutes Bishop leaps at Wittenberg, sparking off a punch-up. Australia finish with victory and retain the Ashes. SHOTLIST: MS Australia build up attack and Irving No 2 scores in corner. MS crowd. MS scoreboard. MS Diamond is kicked in the back by Cliff Watson, who is sent off. MS crowd. MS Hardesty intercepts pass and scores under post for Great Britain. MS crowd. MS Irving No 2 scores controversial try, British players protest to the referee. MS crowd. MS British half-back Bishop fouls Wittenberg and starts a fight in which other players join in. An Australian forward knocks out British forward Dave Robinson.
