MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Instant Earthquake. DESCRIPTION: To find the thickness of the rock formation around a lake in the French Alps, explosives are being lowered into the lake at its deepest point. The important thing for science is the recording of the shock waves. For us, it’s the picture it makes. SHOTLIST: Aerial shot, helicopter lands boxes of explosives.
