- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tribute to a Record Breaker. DESCRIPTION: Throughout his life Donald Campbell was guided by an unswerving conviction that his country’s prestige depended on maintaining her supremacy in such fields as Record Breaking. Movietone recalls the career of a gallant sportsman which ended so tragically at Coniston, within yards of triumph - the elusive speed of three hundred miles an hour. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
