MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Runway Firemen. DESCRIPTION: The big aviation hazard is fire. A demonstration at Stansted shows the efficiency of a new Fire-Fighting agent, BCF - Bromochlorodifluromethane. The fire’s out before you’ve said it! SHOTLIST: MCU firemen spraying foam on the airliner engine. GV aircraft on fire. MS firemen spraying foam onto blaze. MCU ditto. CU man switches on pump. MCU fireman opens tap on hose and foam starts spraying foam. MS fireman having extinguished aircraft fire. Pan up fire belching black smoke. CU fireman starts spraying with BCF MS firemen extinguishing blaze with BCF. MS ditto.
