Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Predictable Surprise. DESCRIPTION: Once again, Britain has been staggering through a Freeze-up that’s just as crippling as our Financial plight. How much longer will we have to suffer the dislocations that inevitably follow a snowfall?. On the Continent they manage things rather better, removing the snow from the highway to the ski-slopes. In West Germany, Olympic skiers compete in a Slalom event - one of the many International Contests being held to build up to the Winter Olympics at Grenoble next month.
