MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Piggy-Back Plane. DESCRIPTION: From Florida - pictures of the World’s smallest flat-top. A thirty-four foot houseboat provides a mini landing pad for a light plane. SHOTLIST: MS plane on boat - pilot gets in. MS wake of boat. MS boat & plane at speed - plane takes off. CU plane wheels off. MS plane climbing. GV boat & plane airborne. CU crewman. Front view plane approaching. LAS plane wheels overhead. MS plane touches down. CU plane wheels landing. MS plane back on boat at speed. WORLD’S SMALLEST FLATTOP 35mm COLOUR First public demonstration of a light plane landing and taking off from a house-boat. The boat travels at 40mph allowing the plane to take off. After circling the plane lands again whilst the boat is travelling at full speed ahead.
