MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Qpr Lose to Wba. DESCRIPTION: Queen Park Rangers - still seeking a win since their elevation to the First Division - fail once more. It’s defeat at the Hawthorns by West Bromwich Albion, three goals to one. SHOTLIST: Fade title - WBA in striped shirts kick off against QPR. MS ball is passed on to No 9 (WBA) who clears. HAS WBA player shoots at goal but misses. MCU father and child in crowd. HAS play in progress as No 8 (QPR) takes possession and clears. MS WBA takes possession and shoots, pan to goal but ball goes into crowd. GV crowd throw ball back. GV crowd in stand. LS Hartford scores for WBA (1st goal). GV crowd cheers, policeman walking in front of stand. HAS Rangers No 11 takes possession, and shoots at goal, but goalie saves. MS crowd. HAS Albion player passes ball. LS Albion dangerous in Rangers’ goal area, foul against Rangers. MLS group of policemen and crowd. LS zoom in at free-kick taken, then Albion player shoots at goal, goalie saves. MS crowd. MLS Ron Rees scores for Albion (2nd goal). LS zoom in players in Rangers goal area. MLS Hartford (WBA) receives ball and passes on, pan to Jeff Astle who heads ball in net (3rd goal). GV crowd. HAS second half - Rangers move up field. MLS Albion repel attack. HAS Williams (WBA) tackles Clarke (QPR) and gets away with ball. MS rough play on line - resulting in throw-in by Albion. MLS play in progress as Rangers put on the pressure. MLS play in Albions’ goal area as Clarke of QPR scores their 1st goal. GV players on field. Score - WBA 3 - QPR 1.
