- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News in Colour:- Souvenirs Past & Present. DESCRIPTION: Another recent exhibition featured the Souvenirs selected by the Design Centre to commemorate the Prince of Wales’ Investiture at Caernarfon this summer. As for the rest of our souvenir industry, Lord Snowdon calls it nothing less than a load of rubbish! . Another preview of the ceremonies at Caernarfon features the craftsmanship of Essex weaver, Bob Meers. He’s responsible for making the Silk Velvet which will be used to make the Prince’s Robes.
