MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Special Colour Presentation of Eisenhower’s Funeral in Washington. DESCRIPTION: Where the world pays tribute to Ike, the soldier who became President and who won the admiration and affection of the whole free world. In a simple coffin, the body lies in State at the Capitol before being carried to the National Cathedral for the Funeral ceremonies. Not since President Kennedy’s Funeral have so many world leaders assembled in Washington. Seldom, has one man combined the qualities of leadership and humility, strength and compassion, as Dwight Eisenhower - one of the immortals of our time. SHOTLIST: SV top of the Capitol building.
