- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: World in the Air. DESCRIPTION: Star of the show at the Paris Air Salon was without doubt the Franco-British Concorde, in spite of strong competition from the Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet, a reconstruction of Bleriot’s cross-channel aeroplane, and no less than three aerobatic teams from different countries. All these, and many others combine to make the Paris Air Show a major international event. SHOTLIST: LAS pan Concorde flies overhead. Top shot planes exhibited at Air Show. MS Franco-British fighter the Jaguar. MS front view of Jaguar. LAS Vickers Vimy (reconstruction) flies towards camera. LAS pan up Vickers Vimy climbing.
