Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Golf in the City. DESCRIPTION: In a disused Warehouse off Fleet Street, the City’s first Golf Club simulates the eighteen holes of the Walton Heath Old Course. An electronic brain works out the speed and direction of your strokes and flashes pictures on a screen to show where your ball has landed. SHOTLIST: MS pan 2 men enter city golf club. CU sign City Golf Club. MS 2 men enter bar. GV bar. CUs pint being pulled and barmaid. GV lounge. MS pan artificial tree in bar. TS 3 men in gymnasium. MCU man on trade bike. MS man on wall bars in gym, man hits golf ball at screen, lights flashing. MCU screen. MS man prepares to play stroke. CUs man’s face, ball being hit. MS man behind wire mesh, prepares to putt ball. CU ball rolls down hole.
